The Circle: Antarctic Experience contains two elements of the Antarctic series – The Journey and The Summer Base Camp.

Explore Antarctica as a doctor, a writer/photographer, an ornithologist (or other scientist) or a field trainer. Immerse yourself in the sounds, experiences and sights that make up the journey from Hobart to Mawson Base and life during the summer season. Enjoy your time there, and revisit as often as you wish.

The unit primarily addresses outcomes of English, the Arts, Science and Studies of Society and the Environment.

This unit has been produced as part of the Tasmanian Open-IT project. The Open-IT project is supported by the Commonwealth
through the Networking the Nation program of the Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts.
